Pros and cons of Monster Anatomy HD - Lower Limb app for iPhone and iPad

Monster Anatomy HD - Lower Limb app good for

Amazing. Bought both upper and lower. Great tool for reference. Please keep updating and having other sequences and contralateral limbs would be nice.
This is a real good app, useful in Office to explain anatomy to the patients or to study.

Some bad moments

Excellent content and very intuitive interface. Very useful for a practicing Radiologist or Radiology trainee. Does seem prone to crashing (hopefully that will be fixed.) Nonetheless, functionality and content far outweigh that problem.
I already have installed Monster Anatomy on my iPhone and I must admit that the iPad version provides greater comfort. I use every day my iPad and this app next to my PACS workstation! I like the landscape mode with large MR images and VR on the left. The previous version (1.2) included some bugs, now everything works great! I hope that the upper limb is coming soon. Thanks.
The developers claim this is aimed at professionals, and the $19 price implies the same. Im a radiologist, and I was interested in having a convenient MRI anatomy reference tool. After using this for a short time Ive already found important anatomic structures unlabeled (e.g. the fibular collateral ligament on the coronal view of the knee). Any anatomy reference for professionals needs to be complete and comprehensive. Its precisely the more obscure structures that were going to want to look up. The user interface is also frustrating - I frequently have to hit buttons four or five times to get the app to react. Finally, the product is obviously incomplete - if this is to be used seriously then it needs to cover at least the whole musculoskeletal system if not the whole body. There are few professionals whose practices are restricted to the lower limbs. As it stands this app is a nice demonstration of the potential of the the technology. The fact that it is selling as well as it is is an indication of the demand that exists for a really good professional MRI anatomy reference.
Excellent app for imaging of the lower extremity as well as 3D anatomy. Good detail and accuracy.
too costly for mini version of lower limb. should have more color, more views and MUCH more information. Dont bother with this app.
Highly recommended if you are interested in Musculoskeletal MRI. I wish they would have one for the upper extremities too.
